Bonjour mes Amis

Nous somme a Paris! Il fait tres chaud☀️?

Hier nous sommes alles a la Tower de Eiffel.

Ok that’s all I got. The nice thing is we have AC in our room for the first time the whole trip. Now that’s something to be thankful for.

The last time we were here it was spring and that makes a big difference on the crowds and the temperature-holy!

I am suffering from a sinus cold or something and the kids are played out already so we sent Ron on his way to do some “power touring” as he called it. Hopefully he comes back for us this afternoon for some more afternoon adventures 🙂

Versaille was scratched off the list for various reasons. Tomorrow still stands for a day of museums. Hopefully they are air conditioned?

Another big difference we have noticed this time is security. And rightly so I know. To get into any sight right now there are either security guards or military checking bags and/or doing body checks. They aren’t super intimidating or anything and it slows the entrance only mildly if you are there early or during off peak times of the day which we are. It’s much like going through security on a plane. Drink up your water cause you can’t take it in.

Yesterday there was a moment of silence for the victims of the Nice tragedy.

I was being overly cautious probably and made everyone walk to the second level of the tower(instead of elevator) and no one was allowed to the top. I explained to Alexander we were lucky to be even going on it…my first thought was that we would just go and look but I had a change of heart and trusted we would be ok to climb it.

Anyways that’s all for now. I think others will be contributing today?
